Tite has named his Brazil squad for September qualifiers against Ecuador and Colombia. The Seleção play Ecuador in Porto Alegre on 31st August, before travelling to Barranquilla on 4th September to face Colombia.

Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino have both been selected, as have Manchester City trio Fernandinho, Ederson and Gabriel Jesus. With Brazil already assured qualification for next year’s Russia World Cup, he has taken the chance to look at some new faces too.

Corinthians goalkeeper Cassio makes the cut, as well as Grêmio forward Luan. São Paulo’s Rodrigo Caio keeps his place, but Chelsea’s David Luiz is omitted after taking part in the June friendlies against Argentina and Australia in Melbourne.

The full squad is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Alisson, Cassio, Ederson

Full-backs: Dani Alves, Fágner, Filipe Luis, Marcelo

Centre backs: Marquinhos, João Miranda, Rodrigo Caio, Thiago Silva

Midfielders: Casemiro, Fernandinho, Renato Augusto, Guiliano

Forwards: Neymar, Luan, Willian, Taíson, Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino, Gabriel Jesus.
