Watford Seal Richarlison Signing
Watford have completed the signing of 21 year old Fluminense striker Richarlison. The Brazil U-20 international finalised his work permit this week and the Premier League club finally confirmed his capture on Tuesday.
Richarlison had been on the brink of a move to Ajax, before Watford swooped for the promising youngster. A statement on Watford’s website read, “Brazilian attacker Richarlison has signed for Watford on a five-year deal, the Hornets are delighted to confirm.
“The Hornets have beaten off strong competition to secure the services of the highly-rated 20-year-old, following a successful work permit application.
“A pacey and exciting forward with an eye for goal, Brazil Under-20 international Richarlison joins from Fluminense, where he played 67 games and scored 19 times.
“He came through the ranks at América Mineiro and has scored twice in eight games for Brazil Under-20s.”
