Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva says that he will consider his future with the club over the summer. The Brazilian celebrates ten years with the club this year and following the Reds’ 3-0 win over Middlesbrough on Sunday, Lucas says he will consider his next move on vacation.

Lucas has been linked with a move away for much of the last two years and he revealed that he has a further year left on his current contract, “I have two children who were born in Liverpool,” he told ESPN Brasil.

“I’m 30 years old, so 33% of my life was made in Liverpool, it’s ten years. So I’m very happy. I was pleased and grateful. I have another year of contract with Liverpool. I’ll probably go on vacation now and have a talk with Jurgen Klopp, with the owners.”

Lucas was presented with a special award to mark his tenth season with the club following Sunday’s Premier League finale, “I think that after ten years, it’s not a matter of negotiation, but rather of finding a solution that is good for both parties.”
