Brazil are set to play their next two home qualifiers at Arena Grêmio in Porto Alegre and Estádio Maracanã. The Seleção play Ecuador on 31st August and this game will likely take place at Grêmio’s stadium.

Meanwhile, in October, Brazil have a home game with Chile to close out the qualifying campaign which is set to be played at the Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro. Brazil confirmed qualification during the recent round of fixtures.

Brazil started the campaign playing most of their home games in the north east of the country, where supporters were considered to be more sympathetic to the team. Pre 2015 Copa América friendlies in Porto Alegre and São Paulo saw fans jeer a struggling side under Dunga.

With Brazil flying, after 9 successive wins and qualification sealed, the atmosphere around the national side has improved markedly and the stadiums are more likely to receive the Seleção more generously.
