Hazard goal ‘reminded me of Ronaldinho’ says Eden Hazard
Chelsea defender David Luiz says that Eden Hazard’s wonder goal against Arsenal on Saturday but him in mind of the great Ronaldinho. The Belgian ran from the halfway line to score the Blues’ second goal in their 3-1 defeat of Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.
“It was fantastic, it reminded me a bit of Ronaldinho – it was amazing,” he told Chelsea’s official website. “I love Eden’s talent and I love him as a person so I enjoy having this kind of person in my team.”
Luiz insisted that Chelsea cannot afford to get complacent, despite holding a 9 point advantage at the top of the Premier League having played each of the 4 teams beneath them away from home already.
“We played a great match,” said the defender. “We were strong, solid, we created good opportunities to score and we enjoyed the game. We are fighting for the title, but the Premier League is never easy.
“You have to concentrate in every single match and try to be first at the end of the season. It is not about the opponent, every game is very difficult so we need to be ready for everything.”
