Chelsea skipper John Terry has paid an emotional tribute to Brazilian midfielder Oscar ahead of his move from the London club to Shanghai SIP. Oscar will move to the Chinese Super League where he is expected to be paid around £400,000 a week.

Oscar fell out of favour with Italian boss Antonio Conte, but clearly is still highly regarded by his captain. Terry took to his Instagram account to pay tribute to the departing midfielder, “I would like to wish Oscar and his family all the very best with his move to China.

“Oscar it was a pleasure to play with you and get to know you mate, an unbelievable player and a great man. Good luck my friend.” Chelsea are expected to net around £60m from Shanghai in transfer fee, for the player that they signed from Internacional in 2012.
