According to Catalan newspaper SPORT, the Brazilian can force the fifth yellow card against Málaga on Saturday, to avoid the risk of being suspended against Real Madrid. The publication, however, already points out another concern of the player. After Málaga, Barcelona face Real Sociedad in Anoeta on June 30, and then Hércules on the 30th for the King’s Cup. But Luis Enrique must rest the starters against the third-division side. Neymar, however, has an event in Brazil on December 1 – launch of the film “xXx: Reativado”, which had the participation of the attacker. Actors of production, Vin Diesel, Nina Dobrev and Ruby Rose have confirmed their presence. The newspaper believes that Neymar will not ask to be released for the event, since it will occur two days before one of the most important games of the season.
SPORT also reported that Neymar and Arda Turan were the only players fined by Barcelona for being late to train over the last few months. The penalty was €200. The duo are repeat offenders, since they had already been fined last season along with defenders Jérémy Mathieu, Aleix Vidal and Jordi Alba, who were fined the same amount. The record holder in fines is Gerard Piqué, who has already paid €3,200 for delay in five training sessions.
