Former goalkeeper Rogério Ceni is preparing to be a football coach, and has visited clubs in Europe over the past weeks.
During the visit to Seville, Rogério Ceni reunited with playmaker Paulo Henrique Ganso, who was his teammate at São Paulo. The biggest idol in São Paulo’s recent history, Ceni sees Paulo Henrique Ganso as one of the best number 10s with whom he has played. Ceni posted a picture with Ganso on Facebook, and wrote: “Alongside one of the greatest number 10s I’ve played with, at Sevilla’s training centre, where I will spend the rest of the week.”
Ceni retired at the end of last year and but has already started the steps for a coaching career in the future. He participated in a training course of the English Football Association. And during his time in England, he also visited clubs like Leicester City, Chelsea, Liverpool etc. In recent days, according to the information from UOL Esporte, Ceni has maintained contact with members of the São Paulo board and made himself available to the club for 2017. Besides the talks, there hasn’t been any agreement between the parties.
