Neymar says that he is desperate to win the Champions League with Barcelona again. The Brazilian won the competition in 2014-15 and is gunning for a second title, ahead of Barcelona’s clash with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City tonight.

“I won the Champions League in my first season, but I’m desperate to win it again. When you win, you do not think that that is your goal achieved, you think that it is necessary to keep the title.” Neymar insists that he is keen to create a legacy at the Catalan club, having signed a new 5 year contract recently.

“If you look at some of the players at Barcelona who have been here for a long time, they won title after title. That’s what I want to achieve here: I want to help create a legacy.” Neymar scored one of the goals in the 2015 Champions League final over Juventus, making him one of only seven players in football history to score in Copa Libertadores and Champions League finals.
