Brazil striker Gabriel Jesús has admitted that he will need to work on his temper before he joins Manchester City from Palmeiras in December. The 19 year old agreed a £32m deal with Manchester City in the summer, but will not arrive until the end of the Brasileirão season.

Jesús, who was sent off for retaliation in a Libertadores encounter with Rosario Central earlier this year, confesses he still has to work on his temper, "Sometimes I lose my head. When my team is losing it messes with my head and I"m upset. Out of control.

"But I have improved a lot. On the pitch, I also have to improve. I learned from my mistake. I"m calm now." Jesús has scored 3 international goals in just 3 caps, but will not have Neymar alongside him for the match against Venezuela on Tuesday due to suspension.

But Jesús does not think Neymar’s absence will be an issue, "We have to have a preference for who will play [in place of Neymar]. Everyone has the ability. Whoever Tite plays will fulfill the function. Every player representing Brazil is good."

The striker also admitted that he has spoken to future clubmate Fernandinho about life in Manchester, ""I want to know more the club, the city, then it becomes easier for my arrival. It will be a shock, but that"s normal."
