Brazil manager Tite expressed his pride in his Brazil side, as they maintained his 100% record since taking over with a resounding 5-0 win over Bolivia in Natal. The crowd sang the manager’s name as the Seleção blitzed the Bolivians with four goals in the first half.

“I was happy with the maturity that the team had, because before the game the mood was that we had ‘already won’. But ‘already won’ is not an attitude we can afford to have on the pitch. Because we know how difficult it is. We know how hard it is to build.

“We had to readjust our work because many players played Sunday on Saturday, then had eight hours of travel, with different sleep patterns and that makes a difference. They maintained the standard equal to the previous one, even with just one tactical training session.

“This gives us confidence. This shows the players can be reliable in their performance. Our team is a mobile team, with lots of runners. When you have a mobile team you can attack quickly. I cannot help but praise the performance we had.”

“We work hard in the final third, to find the players so they can make individual moves. Once we have the shape right, after that it is down to the talent the Brazilian player has. That Neymar has, that Coutinho has, Gabriel (Jesus) has Firmino and Willian have.”

The only negative of the evening was another yellow card for Neymar, who is now suspended for Tuesday night’s game with Venezuela, “He has to learn not to be frustrated by refereeing errors or excessive fouls. He and I have to have the maturity to understand that we have to overcome these issues,” Tite said.
