Brazilian striker Hulk, who currently plays for Shanghai SIPG, is the highest paid player in China and one of the most valued in the world.
The attacker left Russian side Zenit in the middle of the year to sign for Shanghai SIPG. According to the Chinese portal Sina, the club agreed to pay him an annual salary of €20 million to the Brazilian. Brazilian midfielder Ramires, who comes fifth on the list, left Chelsea in January and agreed to sign for Jiangsu Suning. He earns approximately €13 million per-year, which is almost the double of what he used to receive at Chelsea. Jiangsu Suning paid a staggering €50 million to buy Brazilian attacker Alex Teixeira from Shakhtar Donetsk of Ukraine. The player, who was also linked to Liverpool, receives a salary of €11.7 million per-year and took the seventh spot on the list. Argentine playmaker Darío Conca said goodbye to Fluminense in January 2015 to return to China, this time to play for Shanghai SIPG, who pays him an annual salary of €7.3 million. Who comes tenth is former Corinthians and Tottenham midfielder Paulinho, who’s being paid €6.8 million annually.
