Currently going through the adaptation stage of a new tactical role and suffering from strong competition in the team, Brazilian playmaker Paulo Henrique Ganso will miss one of the most important matches of Sevilla this season.
The club released the list of players for the derby against Real Betis, without the presence of Paulo Henrique Ganso. Carriço  and Rami are absent due to injury, while there is no explanation for the exclusion of Timothée Kolodziejczak, Ganso and Ben Yedder. However, the newspaper Diario de Sevilla confirms that the decision was technical. The beginning of the former São Paulo star in Spanish football has been difficult. So far, Sevilla have played eight official games this season, with Sampaoli changing his tactical schemes and line-ups. Ganso has played four games, and three as a starter. Outside the natural difficulty in his adaptation, Ganso has faced strong competition in the midfield sector. Kiyotake and Vitolo began the season well. In addition, Samir Nasri came to the team recently to add to the competition. In a more advanced position, Franco Vázquez has been the preferred choice for Sampaoli.
