Barcelona are ready to offer €60 million for Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos
Marquinhos was excellent for Brazil during the team's successful campaign in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
Often touted as the target of Catalan club Barcelona in the past European transfer windows, Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos still hasn't left the club's sights. According to the information from L'Équipe, Barcelona are willing to shell out €60 million to sign him. Mundo Deportivo, in turn, reports that Marquinhos is one of the favorite players of Barcelona coach Luis Enrique, who has informed the club's board about his wish to count on the Brazilian. The Olympic champion and a starter at PSG following the sale of David Luiz to Chelsea, is interested in exchanging Paris for Barcelona. Marquinhos has been playing for PSG since 2013 when he was bought from AS Roma for €32 million. At the time, Barcelona had tried to sign the player, but were reluctant to invest such a high value on him. Three years on, the club seems to have changed their mind and would be willing to spend almost double the amount.
