Brazilian striker Gabigol will bring physiotherapist Thiago Lobo, who’s been at Santos since 2002, and the security Rodrigo Claudino dos Santos with him to Italy.
Besides them, the press officer Vinícius Vieira will also leave the clun to work with Gabigol. However, he will remain in São Paulo, and manage the image of Gabigol for an agency responsible for taking care of the player’s career. The 20-year-old is not the first to leave the club and take club employees alongside. Neymar, for example, hired the physical trainer Ricardo Rosa, when he went to Barcelona in 2013. Gabigol was sold to Inter Milan for €29.5 million. In addition to the €10 million received for 40% of his economic rights, Gabigol will earn annual wages of €3.5 million in Milan. Santos received €18 million from the total transfer fee. Of this amount, 20% will be deposited in court because of a legal battle with investment group Doyen.
