Former São Paulo goalkeeper Rogério Ceni, who’s in England, had watched the training of Premier League champions Leicester City and chatted for an hour with coach Claudio Ranieri last week.
And on Saturday, Rogério Ceni visited the training centre of Chelsea, where he met former São Paulo player Oscar, and defender David Luiz, who just returned to Stamford Bridge from Paris Saint-Germain. Ceni wrote: “Today I had the pleasure of being received at Chelsea Football Club by two major players of world football and who has passed through São Paulo FC. The structure of this team is fantastic, and to watch the training was amazing, another day of learning and seeing friends. Thank you for caring!”
Rogério Ceni retired at the end of last year and but has already started the steps for a coaching career in the future. On Tuesday, Ceni will start the first module of the course of English Football Association, for training. But he will divide his time between classes and knowing some of the major English clubs, by talking to their coaches and understanding the working methods of each. The legendary goalkeeper is expected at Old Trafford on the 10th of this month to watch the derby between Manchester United and Manchester City.
