Chelsea schemer Oscar has revealed two of his biggest Premier League inspirations prior to joining Chelsea from Internacional in 2012. In an interview with the Chelsea website, Oscar, who was omitted from Brazil’s squad for qualifiers against Ecuador and Colombia, earmarked two Chelsea legends as his biggest idols.

“Didier Drogba is one of the players I always watched. I enjoyed watching him play. Frank Lampard too, they were the players I admired watching,” said the midfielder.

“When I arrived I took the No11 shirt from Drogba, who is an historic player at the club. Now I wear the shirt Lampard used to wear and I want to represent that number in a fitting way — by staying for a number of years and winning many trophies like he did.”
