Santos forward Gabriel Barbosa will join Inter Milan this weekend. The Olympic gold medallist had four offers on the table, thought to be from Inter, Juventus, Leicester City and Atletico Madrid. His agent Wágner Ribeiro said on Thursday that Gabriel will consider the offers and make a choice whether to move, or whether to stay with Santos for the next few months over the weekend.

The 19 year old, who can play all across a front three, flew into Milan on Friday, as confirmed by Inter Milan’s official twitter feed. On Thursday, his agent had said, “I think that by tomorrow we will decide this,” Ribeiro said.

“I can not reveal what the proposals are, but I guarantee that by next week you will know what will happen, if he will stay in Brazil or go to Europe.” The transfer window closes in Europe on Wednesday evening.

Gabigol has been called into the senior Brazil squad for the first time for September World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador and Colombia. Wágner also represents Barbosa’s Santos teammate Lucas Lima and he revealed that Lucas had turned down an offer from an English club, thought to be Crystal Palace. “There was a proposal from England this week for Lucas Lima, but he was not interested,”
