Lucas Lima"s agent Wagner Ribeiro has confirmed that they have received a proposal from England.
However, the businessman did not reveal the name of the club due to a confidentiality clause. Wagner Ribeiro added that Santos haven"t received an official proposal from the English team, but made it clear that, in his opinion, Lucas Lima should ask Santos to negotiate his way out to the mysterious team. Santos owns just 10% of the economic rights of the player, and has no interest in getting rid of him. Investment group Doyen has a share of 80%, while agent Édson Khodor owns the remaining 10%.
Lucas Lima said: “Not everything that arrived [proposals] came out in the press, and not everything that came out in the press was what arrived. Something came from England. Leave, stay, Seleção… leaving not just depend on me, there are several factors. I"m happy at Santos, it is an important year for the national team. If I keep doing a good job, things are easy for me, regardless of leaving now or later."
