On Thursday, Brazilian playmaker Paulo Henrique Ganso was officially presented by La Liga side Sevilla.
The former São Paulo man passed his medical examinations and signed a contract for five seasons with the reigning UEFA Europa League champions. During his press conference, Paulo Henrique Ganso revealed that he had talked to Sevilla coach Jorge Sampaoli. Ganso also received advice from Barcelona"s Neymar and ex-Sevilla striker Luís Fabiano, who currently plays for Tianjin in China.
Ganso said: “I want to adapt myself as quickly as possible. Brazilian football is less intense [than European]. I know I have to work hard. I"m a player with a lot of will and eagerness to always play well and with a lot of attitude. My new teammates are great players with great quality. At 26 years of age, I see myself as prepared to make the jump and do it well. I spoke a little bit with Sampaoli. He wants me to play a little further back on the pitch, although I must adapt to any decision he makes. Neymar told me very well about the Spanish league, and Luís Fabiano talked really well about Sevilla."
