Brazilian playmaker Paulo Henrique Ganso, who has been sold by São Paulo to Sevilla, arrived in Spain on Wednesday to pass his medical and sign a five-year contract with the club.
The player, who was the sixth signing of Sevilla for the season, was received by the club’s sporting director Ramon Rodriguez “Monchi”. Ganso has passed his medical tests now awaits the arrival of the Jorge Sampaoli’s squad, currently on pre-season in the United States. Once the squad return to Spain, which is expected to happen next Saturday, Ganso will travel to Germany, where Sevilla stays until July 30.
Ganso completed his €9.5 million move to Sevilla last week, after almost four years with Brazilian club São Paulo. In less than four years, Ganso played 221 games for São Paulo, scoring 24 goals and providing 49 assists. He also won the Copa Sul-Americana title.
