Brazilian midfielder Anderson Talisca did not receive much opportunities at Benfica during the 2015/16 season.
After a promising start to his spell in Portugal, Anderson Talisca failed to establish himself in his team and can leave Benfica in the current transfer window. According to Portuguese newspaper A BOLA, Benfica club president Luís Filipe Vieira traveled to London to negotiate the Brazilian player, and also Argentine attacker Eduardo Salvio. The players do not know their destination, but if a transfer goes through, then Benfica would receive approximately €50 million. Talisca, who has been linked with a move to Liverpool this summer, was close to joining Chinese club Shandong Luneng for €25 million, but the player himself rejected the move because he wants to play in England. The delegation of the Portuguese club is currently present in England for a friendly against Sheffield Wednesday. Talisca was bought from Bahia for €4 million in July 2014.
