Uruguayan striker Nicolás López is very close to being announced as a new signing of Internacional for the second half of the 2016 season.
Although the club’s board deny an agreement, Globo Esporte reports that Udinese have accepted the latest offer presented by Internacional to sign the striker. As mentioned in the report, Internacional resumed negotiations with Giampaolo Pozzo, owner of Udinese, in the past days and made a final offer to try to facilitate the signing of the Uruguayan. Apparently, he should land in Porto Alegre to sign the contract within Tuesday, when the international transfer window closes. Nicolás López still need to have his situation regularized quickly to act for Inter this season. López, who has had spells at AS Roma and Verona in Italy, played on loan for Nacional for the first half of this year, and scored 11 goals in 21 matches.
