24-year-old Brazilian attacking midfielder Eduardo Sasha, who has a European passport, is wanted by Premier League champions Leicester City.
According to UOL Esporte, Leicester City contacted Internacional and made an initial proposal for the player, but it was below the Brazilian club’s asking price. The club owns 60% of Sasha’s economic rights, and hopes to receive a fee around €11 million. The conversation took place through intermediaries authorized by Leicester, and the board of Internacional have asked to increase the proposal, but without discarding a sale. Before Leicester, Al Jazira and Udinese had made enquiries to know the player’s situation, but a proposal wasn’t made. Scorer of 12 goals this season, Eduardo Sasha owns 30% of his economic rights, while the remaining 10% is with businessman Delcir Sonda. With difficulty in finding a replacement in the market, Internacional wouldn’t want to release the player, but the onslaught of the current English champions and their millions of euros could change their position.
