Incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte wants to keep Brazilian playmaker Oscar at the club, according to a report in the Daily Express. Oscar endured a difficult season last year, having fallen out of favour with Jose Mourinho and failing to win his place back regularly under Guus Hiidink.

Oscar withdrew from a match citing illness during the spring, before driving home, fuelling speculation that his days at Chelsea were numbered. However, the Express says that incoming Blues boss Conte- currently managing Italy at the European Championships- is a fan of the Brazilian.

Oscar was linked with moves to Conte’s Juventus side on several occasions earlier in his Chelsea tenure. His agent also confirmed that an unnamed Chinese club had made a huge offer for his services during the January transfer window.
