According to French outlet Le 10 Sport, Paris Saint Germain have made contact with Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho about the prospect of a summer move to the French capital. PSG had made Eden Hazard their priority for the summer, but Antonio Conte is said to have convinced the Belgian to stay at Stamford Bridge.

Coutinho is currently away with Brazil on Copa América duty. Paris Saint Germain have a network of Brazilian players such as Thiago Silva, David Luiz, Marquinhos, Maxwell and Lucas Moura, who is also in Brazil’s Copa América squad in the USA.

Liverpool will be desperate to keep Coutinho, who scooped the Players and Fans Player of the Season for 2015-16. But the Brazilian playmaker, who arrived from Inter Milan in January 2013, may be tempted by the opportunity to play Champions League football.
