Brazilian right-back Dani Alves is expected to complete his transfer from Barcelona to Juventus in the coming days.
According to the information from Spanish newspaper SPORT, Dani Alves will sign a three-year contract with the Italian champions. Sports director general of Juventus, Beppe Marotta confirmed in an interview with SkySports Italia that a deal to sign Dani Alves from Barça is almost done. Marotta refused to officially announce the signing because the club are dealing with the last few details of the transfer which should be completed soon. Marotta said: “I can confirm that negotiations with Dani Alves are on the right track and we are pleased about it.”
Alves is currently with the Brazilian team preparing for the Copa América Centenário, and the player didn’t confirm if he will be at Barcelona next season. He said: “In the national team, my only focus is the national team. I have all the time I need to solve any problem out of the field.”
