Internacional yet to give up on Nicolás López and awaits the response of Udinese
Nicolás López is on loan from Udinese to Nacional in Uruguay and has an offer from Internacional.
Internacional haven't given up on Uruguayan striker Nicolás López. A month after submitting a proposal to Udinese, Inter are still following the attacker who's currently at Nacional, and are waiting for a response from Udinese. Brasileirão champions Corinthians are another team that have made an enquiry for Nicolás López, but the €6 million asking price of Udinese is the biggest problem in negotiations. Internacional's offer reportedly has an involvement of a player, and millionaire Giampaolo Pozzo [who controls Udinese, Granada and Watford] praised Eduardo Sasha. However, the name of Sasha nor any in particular, was quoted officially in the conversations. The board of Inter ensure that the negotiations are still at the same stage when there was a visit to Pozzo, in early April. Those involved in the negotiations also confirm that there was no evolution in the talks, but were unable to specify the reason for a stall in talks. At Beira-Rio, Nicolás López is seen as an ideal signing for the team coached by Argel Fucks. The Uruguayan, 22, is on loan at Nacional for 18 months but they're contractually obligated to release the player, upon request from Udinese.
