Inter Milan monitoring Atlético Paranaense youngster Otávio
Otávio is a regular at Atlético Paranaense, and he was one of the revelations of Brazilian football last year.
Italian press speculates that Inter Milan representative Massimiliano Mirabelli sees the 22-year-old midfielder as a good option to strengthen Roberto Mancini's side. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the objective of Inter would be to have the player for next season. One of the problems for signing Otávio would be the high value of the player; he's valued at around €10 million. In addition, Inter Milan already have three non-EU players in their squad - Chilean Gary Medel, Japanese wing-back Nagatomo and Brazilian defender Juan Jesus. In the report, the Italian press also claims that AS Roma are one of the clubs interested in taking Otávio. In March this year, CalcioMercato had reported that Inter Milan have been following 22-year-old midfielder Hernani Azevedo Júnior, also from Atlético Paranaense.
