Right-back Douglas has won more titles for Barcelona than a couple of Brazilians who went onto become legends at the club.
On Saturday, Douglas won the Spanish Championship for the second time in a row and was also victorious in the FIFA Club World Cup and the King"s Cup last season. If we analyze the number of trophies in official tournaments, Douglas is second to three Brazilians who were elected as best in the world and played for Barcelona: Romário [2 trophies], Ronaldo [3] and Rivaldo [4]. Douglas was part of the UEFA Champions League celebrations last year and the collection of his trophies could"ve been higher. Although he took a medal home, Douglas is not considered a winner of the competition, because UEFA only counts players who entered the field, which wasn"t the case with the former São Paulo man.
Douglas: La Liga 2014/15 and 2015/16; FIFA Club World Cup 2015; Copa del Rey 2014/2015.
Romário: La Liga 1993/1994; Supercopa de España 1994.
Ronaldo: Supercopa de España 1996; UEFA Cup Winners" Cup 1997; Copa del Rey 1997.
Rivaldo: La Liga 1997/98 and 1998/99; UEFA Super Cup 1997; Copa del Rey 1998.
