Brazilian attacker Philippe Coutinho swept up at the Liverpool FC End of Season awards. Voted for by fans’ and players’, Coutinho won the Player of the Season award, Players’ Player of the Season award, the Goal of the Season award and the Performance of the Season award.

His goal against Manchester United in the Europa League Quarter-Final and performance in Liverpool’s 4-1 win at Manchester City in November bagged him the goal and performance of the season awards.

Coutinho, who scored 8 goals in 26 appearances this season, said, “Thank you to all the fans. It was a good goal but the most important thing was that we beat them. And now we have our final.” Liverpool play Sevilla in Basel in the Europa League Final on May 18th.

Coutinho, who signed for the Reds from Inter Milan in January 2013, is also part of Dunga’s 23 man squad for this summer’s Copa América Centenario in the United States.
