Santos forward Gabriel Barbosa says his focus is on the national team at the moment, and that a decision about his future should be made after the Olympics.
Agent Wagner Ribeiro confirmed this week that Borussia Dortmund have made a €25 million proposal for the 19-year-old. Gabigol has warned that he will not make any promise to remain at Santos, and didn"t rule out moving to Europe after representing the Brazilian national team in the Copa América Centenário in Jume, and the Olympic Games at home in August. Gabigol is going through the best period of his career, where he managed to establish himself in the Olympic team, and also earned a place in Dunga"s senior squad for the Copa América Centenário. He said: “I can"t promise, but I"ve always been very correct with Santos, everyone knows me well, and that I keep my words. I don"t have anything to say now, my plans are after the Olympics, then we will solve everything. After [I"ll think about Europe], there"s the national team, Copa América, Olympics…then we will see later."
