Corinthians defender Felipe admitted on Monday that there was an enquiry to leave the current Brasileirão champions and join Portuguese side FC Porto.
Felipe said that his agent informed him about the interest from Porto, but the player wants to fulfil his contract with the Brazilian club. Felipe, who has a contract until 2019, was on the verge of joining French team Monaco in January after an excellent season with Corinthians. He said: “I learned from my manager, he said there are a few clubs interested, but my focus is at Corinthians. I have a contract. My manager came to speak about Porto. It was an enquiry. But whatever happens, I stay focused. I’d fulfill my contract, but if something happens, it’s natural, but my focus is total.”
