Following the good performances for Lazio this season and appearances for Brazil’s Olympic team, attacking midfielder Felipe Anderson is one of the hottest names in the market.
Felipe Anderson has seen his name being linked with big clubs like Manchester United, Milan and Paris Saint-Germain, but the player’s representative Juliana Gomes told Globo Esporte that there is currently no ongoing negotiations for the Brazilian. Signed from Santos in 2013 for €7.5 million, Felipe Anderson has a contract with Lazio until 2020, and reports from England and Italy have claimed that Manchester United would be ready to invest €50 million to bring the 23-year-old to Old Trafford.
Juliana Gomes said: “The future of Felipe Anderson right now is at Lazio. I can speak officially on behalf of the player and, unlike some stories that are coming out from Italy and England, I can guarantee that I’m not involved in any dealings to sell him at the end of this season. Felipe has a contract with Lazio until 2020 and the clubs that are interested in having it should seek the president Lotito first. If Lazio are interested in releasing him, the club will communicate and then we will expose our position. The fact is that so far it hasn’t happened.”
