Internacional’s Brazilian national team goalkeeper Álisson will be presented in Rome on July 1.
So, if Álisson is called up to the final 23-man Brazil squad to take part in June’s Copa América Centenário, he can say goodbye at the end of the Campeonato Gaúcho. Internacional are in the final of the Campeonato Gaúcho, and the games against Juventude will be played in the next two Sundays. Then Álisson may play in the first two rounds of the Brazilian Championship, against Chapecoense and São Paulo, but if he’s absent, then coach Argel Fucks should choose Danilo Fernandes, who arrives from Sport Recife after the Campeonato Pernambucano. Copa América Centenário is played in the United States from June 3 to 26, and if called up, Álisson should be present with the national team at the end of May. After the competition, Álisson should travel to Italy and present himself to new club AS Roma. Negotiations for the transfer of Álisson to Roma was set months ago, but Inter are yet to make a formal announcement of the deal. According to UOL Esporte, Internacional should make around €10 million from the goalkeeper’s sale to Roma. Inter will receive €6m as the first part of the payment, and based on the contractual clauses, the deal would rise to €10m.
