Palmeiras’ exciting youngster Gabriel Jesus spoke to reporters on Thursday at the Academia de Futebol, and rejected claims that he has an offer to play in Italy.
The Italian press have been reporting the interest of Juventus in the Palmeiras player, but the 19-year-old gave a press conference and spoke about his future at the club. Gabriel Jesus has a contract with Palmeiras until December 2019. In March this year, the attacker received a substantial salary increase, and also has a €40 million release clause for foreign clubs. He said: “I don’t know about any proposal. I just think about Palmeiras. There’s a decisive game on Sunday for me to play, and my head is only focused in this. I’m not thinking about anything out of here. When I was in the national team squad, I just thought about the national team, and now that I am here, I just think about the club.”
