Goalkeeper Álisson, a starter in the Brazilian national team, will join Italian side AS Roma in the middle of the year, and Internacional are trying to replace him with Danilo Fernandes of Sport Recife.
According to Rádio Gaúcha, Internacional wants more clarity in the situation, and two of their representatives, Cuca Lima and Felipe Dallegrave, are in Recife to meet the player and the club. Danilo Fernandes, 28, has a contract until December with Sport and the negotiations for a renewal haven’t progressed. Internacional may pay a compensation fee to Sport, and hopes to have the player this season. Álisson will leave Internacional in the next transfer window to make the next step in his career. Inter have even received a part of the negotiation values from Roma – the agreement has performance related clauses and the fee may reach €10 million.
