Santos, Porto, PSG and Liverpool are interested in Marlos Moreno, who has been one of the highlights from Colombian football this season.
Atlético Nacional have received enquiries from several clubs for the young attacker, and according to the information from Brazilian journalist Bruno Andrade, the club have set the price to sell the 19-year-old. The Colombian club wants at least €6 million for the player who made his debut for the senior national team during the 2018 World Cup qualifiers. The president of Santos, Modesto Roma met Atlético Nacional leader Juan Carlos de la Cuesta last Thursday to discuss a deal for Marlos Moreno, and a new meeting is scheduled in the coming days.
Globo Esporte reckons that a Santos representative who went to Colombia recently heard that Porto and Liverpool are also closely monitoring the attacker. Santos understands that they cannot keep up with the financial power of European sides, and hence plans to offer a lesser fee and an opportunity for Atlético Nacional to keep a part of the player’s rights, which will benefit the Colombians in a future negotiation.
