Brazilian club Internacional are about to announce their fifth signing for the 2016 season.
Internacional have reached an agreement for the loan transfer of Colombian midfielder Juan Fernando Quintero, who is currently at French side Rennes, but belongs to FC Porto. 23-year-old Quintero is the number 10 that coach Argel Fucks would"ve asked to strengthen his team. The player was linked with moves to Flamengo and Atlético Mineiro in 2015, but preferred to continue in Europe last season. Quintero played the 2014 FIFA World Cup with the Colombian national team. He belongs to Porto, and will come to the Beira-Rio on loan until December. In the 2015/2016 season, though, the Colombian was in France. At Rennes, he played 14 games and scored a goal. With stints at Envigado, Atlético Nacional and Pescara, he came to Portugal in 2013 to be the number 10 of Porto, who purchased him when fellow Colombian James Rodríguez [now at Real Madrid] was sold to Monaco. At Porto, played 64 times and scored seven goals.
