Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink has once again discussed the situation of Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato, who"s yet to debut for the club, nearly two months after being bought in loan from Corinthians.
At a press-conference on Friday, the Dutch coach hinted that Chelsea bought Pato when Loïc Rémy and Radamel Falcao were suffering from injuries, but now the situation is different. Hiddink gave hope that he would make some changesin attack, and also added that the player will stay until the end of the season. He said: “You have to understand that when Pato arrived we were in a difficult situation, with only one striker [Diego Costa]. Bertrand Traoré was a young kid, but soon gained ground with goals and good performances. Rémy and Falcao also had physical problems during that period. Since then, they [other attackers] have been better physically, and Pato will need to compete with others. Let"s see what we"ll do next after the international break. We"ll see if some changes can be made."
