Internacional vice-president Carlos Pellegrini has confirmed that they"re negotiating with Portuguese side Sporting, to sign 30-year-old Colombian Téo Gutiérrez.
But he also added that the idea of the club is to sign the striker after the current European season. But if the team fails to reach an agreement with Sporting, the club claims to have three other options on the market. The last game of Sporting will be on May 15, so Inter can only bring Téo a month later. It"s because the international transfer window in Brazil closes on April 20 and only reopens on June 20. Former player of Racing and River Plate, Téo Gutiérrez was wanted by Corinthians last year, but he eventually went to Sporting, for €3.4 million. Inter sees Téo as the ideal player to give more quality to their attack. Before starting negotiations for the Colombian striker, Inter had made enquiries for Marcelo Moreno and Henrique Almeida [joined Grêmio].
