
Atlético Paranaense win in Montevideo

Pedro Oldoni and Marcos Aurelio both scored in the second half to help Atlético Paranaense to an impressive 2-1 victory over Uruguay's Nacional on Thursday in the first leg of the Copa Sudamericana quarterfinals.
Atlético played the final 13 minutes with only 10 men after Valber was sent off for a harsh foul.
Diego Alonso had given the Uruguayan side the lead in the 56th minute. Oldoni equalized in the 73rd and Aurelio easily converted a penalty a minute later.
Paranaense hosts the second leg next Wednesday in Curitiba for a place in the semifinal.
