In the coming days, Internacional will officially announce the sale of Brazilian national team goalkeeper Álisson to AS Roma.
Club vice-president Carlos Pellegrini told Rádio Bandeirantes on Tuesday that the official announcement will be made in the next few days. A deal has been in place since December, but Álisson will only leave the Beira-Rio after July, and Internacional are already analysing options to replace the goalkeeper. Two weeks ago, Inter and Roma exchanged the documents and concluded the bureaucratic details of the deal involving Álisson. According to UOL Esporte, the Brasileirão side should make around €10 million from the transfer. The four names being analyzed by Inter are Danilo Fernandes of Sport Recife, Wéverton of Atletico-PR, Agustín Marchesín of Mexican side Santos Laguna and Uruguayan keeper Fernando Muslera from Galatasaray. Pellegrini said: “An agreement will be announced in the coming days. We have Muriel and two youngsters who came from the youths in the squad. But we are also looking at the market. We will seek a goalkeeper of the same level of Álisson, someone who meets all the attributes that he has.”
