Cruzeiro have loaned out Valencia owned striker Vinícius Araújo to Sport
The second spell of striker Vinícius Araújo at Toca da Raposa II was quite frustrating and he has signed a contract with Sport Recife until June 30, 2016, the date when his loan agreement with Cruzeiro was supposed to end.
At the end of the deal at Ilha do Retiro, the player should return to Valencia, the club which holds his rights since 2014. From then on, Sport will have to talk to the Europeans if they intend to acquire the attacker. His second spell at the club was not successful as he played 15 games [scored three goals], but never managed to establish himself in the first-team. In his first spell at Cruzeiro, Vinícius Araújo won the Brazilian Championship in 2013. At the time, he was a major name in the team led by Marcelo Oliveira and played next to the likes of Éverton Ribeiro and Ricardo Goulart.
