In an exclusive interview with ESPN Brasil, Lucas Lima admitted his plan to go to Europe in the middle of the year, despite having a contract until the end of 2017. He said: “Oh, it’s tough to say if this will be my last year in Santos, because I have a contract until 2017, but I know that the mid-year window is very important, especially for me to achieve my goals. I want to win the Paulistão, back to the national team, play in the Copa América and maybe go to a great Europe team in the mid-year window. I have tried to let it go, keep my feet on the ground and focus on my game. Then, when the time is right to consider, I will do what is best.”
