As mentioned in Mundo Deportivo, Leicester City made an approach for former World Player of the Year Ronaldinho, who’s currently without a club since leaving Fluminense in the second half of last year. Ronaldinho rejected the offer from England and is now expected to go to Chinese football. According to the publication, Leicester coach Claudio Ranieri himself asked for the arrival of the Barcelona legend, as he intends to sign some experienced players for the final stretch of the season where the team fights for an unprecedented Premier League title. However, the Premier League leader’s proposal did not seduce Ronaldinho and he’s reportedly close to signing with a Chinese club.
Ronaldinho was in Barcelona for the celebration of 110 years of the newspaper Mundo Deportivo, and then went to the Vatican where he met Pope Francisco.
