Globo Esporte is reporting that Chelsea’s Ramires has become a transfer target for an unnamed Chinese club. Teams from the Chinese Superleague have been raiding Brasileirão for talent over the last month, with the likes of Jádson, Ralf and Geuvânio having already made the move East, whilst Gil of Corinthians looks set to be next. Alexandre Pato turned down a move to China earlier this month.

Brazilian midfielder Ramires is known to be unhappy at Chelsea, having only appeared twice under Guus Hiidink since he took over from Jose Mourinho. Once as a substitute in December and he started an FA Cup tie against Scunthorpe United earlier this month. The 28 year old is said to be keen on a move away from Stamford Bridge this month.

Juventus tried to buy Ramires last year, but the move was vetoed by then manager Mourinho and Ramires was happy enough to sign a new deal earlier this season, committing him to the London club until 2019. But since Mourinho’s sacking, he has fallen out of favour. As well as the unnamed Chinese club, Borussia Dortmund are also said to be monitoring the situation.
