Brazilian forward Robinho is very close to returning to his boyhood club Santos for the third time in his career.
According to the information from UOL Esporte, Robinho has reached a deal with the club over his wages on Friday and could be announced as their new signing as early as next Monday. Robinho will receive a salary of approximately €135,000 per-month in what would be his fourth spell at the Brazilian club, and the contract, initially, should be signed for one season with an option to renew. Santos also have an agreement with a partner who would help the club to pay the amount. The report states that Robinho, who also made a final contractual requirement to sign the contract, has promised Santos that he will give them an answer on Monday. The Vila Belmiro side are very optimistic about a deal being completed. Robinho, who had a fairly successful spell at Santos last time out, did not renew his deal with Guangzhou Evergrande where he played very little.
