Negotiations advance successfully and Beşiktaş are close to signing Cássio from Corinthians
Turkish side Beşiktaş are on the verge of completing the signing of 27-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper Cássio from 2015 league champions Corinthians.
As reported by Globo Esporte, just an approval by Corinthians separate the goalkeeper from completing his switch to Beşiktaş, and follow the likes of Jádson, Renato Augusto, Vágner Love and Ralf on the way out of Brazil. The negotiations for the departure of Cássio advanced successfully yesterday and he has already reached an agreement on wages and contract length with Beşiktaş. The Corinthians goalkeeper told his colleagues that the proposal was undeniable from a financial point of view and the club nodded for a sale. Transfer values are not yet revealed, but Corinthians will ne entitled to 60% of the total fee.
With Cássio on his way out, Corinthians have cancelled the negotiations to loan out 26-year-old ex-Bragantino goalkeeper Douglas.
