AS Roma offering €5 million for Internacional goalkeeper Álisson, and can sign him in January
Internacional are indeed negotiating the sale of 23-year-old Brazilian national team goalkeeper Álisson.
According to the information from UOL Esporte, the most recent development was the meeting between the Porto Alegre club's leaders and representatives from AS Roma. Before, Internacional had already met with Doyen Sports Group and those sent by Juventus. The conversation with Roma happened in the afternoon of Tuesday, hours after Internacional affirmed that there have been negotiations. The unusual statement from the club president Vitório Piffero, who's always hard on the transfer issues, was seen as a sign of the imminent departure of Álisson. Roma are offering €5 million for the services of Álisson, a transfer as soon as the European window opens in January, and also respects the player's wish to keep playing regularly at his new club.
On the other hand, representatives from Juventus, who arrived at the Beira-Rio through Doyen Sports Group, offered €8m, but wants Álisson to come to Turin only at the end of 2016 and wouldn't be able to offer the player an immediate starting role. Álisson, who has a contract until November 2016, is currently holidaying outside Brazil, and the negotiations should end only after the return of the keeper.
